Stjepan Ivanec is one of the most important representatives of the so-called "Hlebinska škola" Croatian naive art which effectively deals with something more than 40 years. In his paintings in oil on glass pronounced, describes, transmitted and recorded the ancient spirit of Podravina, but also because of the content of naive character. He has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions, and his works among others are in the permanent exhibition of the Museum of Naive Art in Nice and in the collection of painting of the Japanese imperial family.
