Fun pack 1 - "The little tern" programme

DAY 1.

Arrival in Barcs, at Hartmann Boarding House; a family business with a considerable equestrian reputation. Visitors are put up here for the following days. Setting off for the Spa and Recreational Centre of Barcs; the stronghold of relaxation, healing and sports. Dinner is served in Kalmár Restaurant offering genuine, homemade dishes.

DAY 2.

At 9.00, after breakfast, the equestrian programme, lasting until the afternoon, commences. Based on level of knowledge or bravery, there are several possibilities available from cross-country to carriage rides. Lunch is served a couple of kilometres away on the other side of the border in Virovitica where we can taste good quality Slavonic, regional and international dishes in an MFM restaurant. Edita Schubert’s transavantgarde park, the imposing Dvorac Castle, Franjevackog Samostana, considered to be the gem of 18th century baroque and the town’s indigenous citizen, Mikeš, are all worth visiting on a sightseeing tour. For dinner we return to Barcs where Gurító Csárda provides full service, meeting all requirements from gourmet to traditional dishes.

DAY 3.

Leaving our accommodation in the morning we head off to Hotel Visnjica and after half an hour’s drive we arrive to a place where everything is given for a real ‘puszta’ atmosphere. Riding the mounts of the famous stable along the paths of the old historical forests. Walking in the herb garden, relaxing in an unspoilt natural environment. Lunch is made strictly from local produce.
