Fun pack 5 - "’European nightjar" programme
Day 1.
After arriving at our accommodation in the School of Forestry and Educational Centre in Somogyszob, we can dive into the everyday life of forest wildlife and the profession of a forester to discover the relationship of nature and people and the importance of forestry and game management. Every age group has the chance to broaden its experiences and knowledge by direct and active participation. After lunch and a busy morning we can relax in the Thermal Spa in Nagyatád enjoying the benefits of thermal water and health boosting services and treatments. Dinner is served in Somogyszob.
Day 2.
After breakfast we head off to Bakovcica where Seljacko Domancinstvo Izletiste – Jastrebov vrh. offers varied programmes for groups of pre-school and school age as well as pensioners. Let us try horse riding, baking cake and bread, discover the medieval forest and take a walk in the local zoo in the company of deer, goats, rabbits, mangalica, ponies and pigeons. The brave can discover the lovely foliage of the Bilogora forest.
Day 3.
After breakfast there is a full-day programme for children in Somogyszob in the two-acre area of the centre. We can see the manor introducing native animal species, walk around the pond, walk along nature and sports trails getting to know more about herbs and spices.
