Fun pack 13 - "Chequered daffodil" programme

Day 1.

We are put up in Csokonyavisonta at the Négy Évszak (Four Seasons) Thermal Holiday Hotel which pours the Hungarian thermal water with a special composition and effect into your bathtub. Thus, our programme starts at the hotel where we can pamper ourselves bathing or taking a sauna. Dinner is served in the nearby Korona Restaurant and Boarding House.

Day 2.

After breakfast we set off for the nearby Babócsa where, apart from the flowering daffodil field, there are colourful programmes awaiting visitors every year. Daffodil Day is held in the 13-acre Basa garden which is unique in Europe providing a habitat for the enormous and connected fields of daffodils.

Day 3.

After breakfast we visit the Nagyatádi Szabó István Memorial House which commemorates the famous minister, native of the place, granter of land. Lunch is served in Restoran Dvorac in Virovitica in the building of the former castle. This is where we can see the permanent exhibitions of the Town Museum as well. We can meet Stjepan Ivanec, naïve painter. Then, followed by a short sightseeing walk, we return to Csokonyavisonta.
